| To
create an awareness and understanding of the functions and duties of the
Health and Safety Representatives, the role of a Health and Safety
Committee as well as the establishment thereof
Candidates will also
acquire the necessary knowledge to complete a Health and Safety
Representative Inspection Report, successfully acquire basic knowledge on
Accident Investigation and should be able to participate effectively as a
Health and Safety Committee member
To be able to carry out
all that is required by the OHS Act to function successfully as a Health
and Safety Rep in his/her place of work
